How it started

Paddock Service started with a simple idea: making the parts I would have liked to find for my own car. If you're reading this, you probably own a front-engined Porsche (924, 944, 928) and already know how hard it can be to find quality parts in Europe. Here is how it began.

It started with a video: the American channel Hagerty on the Porsche 924 and the front-engined cars. I was hooked. I started searching on Le Bon Coin with simple criteria: a Porsche engine, roadworthy, and a budget of no more than €6,000. That pointed me to the 924S.

In 2025 I bought my first Porsche 924S and drove it through the summer. The handling, the sound, and the balance of the car were what sold me.

Winter came and the restoration work started. That is when I ran into the same problem many owners already know: the right parts, at the right quality, are often hard to find in Europe. So much of the supply comes from the United States. Ordering across the Atlantic is expensive and lead times can be long. Alternatives in Europe, and especially in France, are few.

With a background in industrial design, I started designing the parts and having them manufactured. Not to replace the whole catalogue, but to offer what you cannot find here, or only at a quality I would not fit on my own car.

Paddock Service exists to make those parts properly, in Europe, to a higher standard than what is typically available.
